At Comfort Dental of Anderson, we offer sedation services for many different situations. The majority of our patients select oral sedation, however, a growing number of patients are selecting IV Sedation or even General Anesthesia, both offered by an anesthesiologist. The anesthesiologist comes into the office on an as-needed basis. If a patient requests IV or General Anesthesia, then the doctor is contacted. The doctor will need a complete medical history as well as a consultation with your primary care physician if you have a complicated medical history. IV Sedation is an excellent choice for dental procedures such as dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, cosmetic dentistry and any comprehensive dental surgery.
